Cubic Mage — Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Cubic Mage (the "Game") handles, why, and your choices. The Game is made by Keunwon Kim, known on Steam as KEVI, making games as HolyFox Games ("we", "us").
1. The short version
- The Game itself does not collect analytics, track you, or show ads.
- Your saves and settings stay on your own computer.
- Information is sent to us only when you choose to send feedback from inside the Game.
- Multiplayer runs through Steam, which handles your Steam account under Valve's own privacy policy.
- The Game is built with Unity. We turn off Unity's analytics services and do not use them, but Unity's engine may still send basic device information (such as hardware and operating system) to Unity under Unity's own privacy policy.
2. Data stored on your computer
The Game saves your worlds, characters, settings, and key bindings on your own computer. We do not receive these files unless you send them to us yourself.
3. Feedback you choose to send
The Game has an optional feedback feature (the F1 panel's "Send to Discord", and the main menu's feedback window). Nothing is sent unless you click Send, and the button tells you what will be sent before you confirm.
When you send feedback, it can include:
- Your note (the text you type);
- A screenshot of the game screen at that moment;
- A game report: game version, operating system, CPU, GPU and graphics API, memory, screen resolution and quality setting, frame rate, game language, current scene and position in the game world, your character's class, level, stats and equipment, active quests, life skill levels, whether cheats were used this session, and recent error and warning messages;
- The game's log file (Player.log). Log files can contain technical details such as file paths on your computer. The Game hides your Windows user name in the report and the log before sending them.
Where it goes:
- Bug reports and suggestions: your note and screenshot are posted on our public Discord boards (https://discord.gg/PU89uRgqyw), where other community members can see them. The full report and log are not posted publicly.
- The full report, screenshot, and log are sent to a private Discord channel only the development team can see.
Sending uses Discord's webhook service, so Discord processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Why: to find and fix bugs, understand problems players run into, and improve the Game.
How long: we keep feedback as long as it is useful for developing the Game, and delete it on request (section 7).
Please do not put personal information (such as your real name, email, or contact details) in your note.
4. Multiplayer and Steam
Multiplayer sessions are hosted by players and connect through Steam. To show who is in a session, the Game displays players' Steam names and uses Steam's networking and lobby features. The host's computer runs the shared world, and game data such as positions, chat messages, and actions is exchanged between the players in that session. We do not store this data on our own servers.
Your Steam account, purchases, and friend lists are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy.
5. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through feedback, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your information. Feedback is shared only as described in section 3 (our Discord, including the public boards for notes and screenshots). Unity may receive basic device information as section 1 describes. We may disclose information if required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can play without ever sending feedback.
- You can ask us to delete feedback you sent, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing holyfoxgames@gmail.com with the approximate date and the note's text so we can find it.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California law), you may have further rights, such as access, correction, deletion, and objection. Contact us to use them; you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
Feedback is processed by Discord, which may store data outside your country. By sending feedback, you understand it will be transferred to and stored on Discord's servers.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the Game changes. The current version will be on the Game's store page or website, with the date at the top.
